The Kringle Spirit Has a New Home in Buchanan!

On Monday, September 22nd, something truly special happened—Uncle Mike’s Kringle Shoppe officially opened its doors in Buchanan! 🎉

For years, we’ve been sharing our award-winning kringle, handcrafted with love and tradition, across Northeast Wisconsin. But there’s always been a dream bubbling behind the scenes—to create a dedicated space where kringle could truly shine on its own. A place built just for celebrating Wisconsin’s official state pastry in all its flaky, buttery, joy-filled glory. That dream came to life the moment our doors opened in Buchanan.

A Place Just for Kringle Lovers

Walking into the new shoppe feels a little different—there’s a sense of magic in the air. Every detail, from the warm, welcoming design to the smell of fresh-baked kringle coming out of the ovens, was crafted with one goal in mind: to make Buchanan the home base of kringle happiness.

And it’s not just about the kringle (though of course, that’s the star of the show). The new shoppe also features ice cream, coffee, and other sweet treats that pair perfectly with your favorite flavor. It’s the kind of place where families stop in after school, neighbors catch up over coffee, and visitors get their very first taste of what makes kringle so beloved in Wisconsin.

Opening Day Magic

The outpouring of support from the community has been incredible. On opening day, we saw smiles, we heard laughter, and we watched kids press their noses up to the glass to get the first look at the rows of glistening kringles. People lined up to grab their favorite flavors—from Sea Salt Caramel Pecan to Caramel Apple—and to try something new.

We’re humbled, grateful, and more excited than ever to keep baking up joy right here in Buchanan.
