How It Began

As a third-generation baker, I’ve always dreamed of upholding the high-quality baking tradition established by my family. We use old-fashioned methods and top-notch ingredients, sourcing locally when possible, to ensure a great customer experience.

After graduating from college, attending baking school, and working in the family bakery for 13 years, my wife and I fulfilled our dream of opening our own bakery. We launched Uncle Mike’s Bake Shoppe in 2001, and the response in De Pere was overwhelming. As demand grew, we expanded with a second location in Suamico three years later. My commitment to traditional baking methods and exceptional customer service remains unwavering. Now, with our daughter Brittni and son Nathan joining the business as the fourth generation, we are dedicated to preserving our rich baking heritage for years to come.

We are proud to have received over 100 awards for our baking and cake decorating, including the prestigious North American Kringle Competition Grand Champion award.
