One week. One special Kringle. One incredible community.
As Kringle for a Cause comes to a close, we simply want to say thank you.
When we announced this fundraiser, our goal was simple: use something we love making to help people who needed our community's support.
Thanks to you, we sold 1877 Caramel Chocolate Churro Kringles, raising $22,524 for two important causes.
At the request of the Manderfield family, $6 from every Kringle sold will be donated to the Manderfield Family Scholarship through the Wisconsin Bakers Foundation, helping support future generations of bakers. The remaining $6 from every Kringle sold will be donated to United Way Fox Cities, supporting local tornado relief efforts for families and communities affected by the recent storms.
For our family, this fundraiser was personal.
The Manderfield family has been part of Wisconsin's baking community for many years, and our families have known each other for a long time. Seeing one of their bakery locations destroyed by the tornadoes was heartbreaking. At the same time, so many other families, businesses, and neighborhoods throughout our community were facing the difficult road of rebuilding.
We knew we wanted to help. What we didn't know was just how many of you would join us.
Throughout the week, we watched customers come in specifically to support the fundraiser. Some picked up one Kringle for their family, while others bought several to share with friends, neighbors, or coworkers. Every purchase became something much bigger than breakfast or dessert—it became a way to help someone else.
That's what makes our community so special.
As bakers, we're fortunate to be part of some of life's happiest moments—family breakfasts, birthdays, holidays, and celebrations. This week reminded us that we can also come together during difficult times.
To everyone who purchased a Kringle, shared our fundraiser, encouraged others to participate, or simply cheered us on, thank you. Your generosity made this fundraiser possible, and together we were able to make a meaningful impact.
We also want to thank the Manderfield family for allowing us to support them in this way, and United Way Fox Cities for the work they continue to do helping our communities recover and rebuild.
This fundraiser may be over, but the spirit behind it isn't.
It's another reminder that when our community comes together, incredible things can happen.
